A house and a home

Renting is an important housing option for many Queenslanders. We need to ensure the rental needs of Queenslanders will be met now and into the future. That’s why the Queensland Government is opening the door to renting reform. Share your rental experiences and ideas on how to improve renting in Queensland.

Being able to hang photos on the wall, having a pet, and maintaining privacy are among the important aspects of making Queenslanders feel at home. But some things that make a house a home can damage the property.

We want to hear from you about how we can make sure our rental laws strike the right balance for rental properties to protect the investment in a house, while making it feel like a home.
